After a lot of struggling I managed to finish this painting - Aleyon of Celenthia, character in "Valley of Stars". Despite all the flaws, I'm actually really happy with the outcome, I'm also happy I figured out some new techniques with my airbrush and my new way of blending background *u*

orz pay no attention to the retarded hands - I was so excited about the pose and coloring + tired I just ..well.. let it be ? XD

A3 is big you are not affraid to run out of materials ? XD

haha good point XD seriously though, paints are veeeery efficient : D There are paints that I've had for like 2 years now and they still haven't run out, I wasn't forced to buy any replacement except for Copic Opaque White

and such big paintings look pretty cool in real life : D I'm looking for a tad smaller format now though

I see oh you know I just thought about myself ..I bought some materials but I'm "stingy" to use them because they are expensive on the other hand I think I need to use them without being troubled about the price ...I need to practice with the materials ..such a dillema haha ... sorry english is bad ...stingy is not the right word lalala but I think u know what I ment XD

It's something between A4 and A3. I hate working with A4 this format just doesn't work for me, I always run out of space XD
I know what you mean, my boyfriend got me Holbein gouaches and I haven't touched them xD they are too expansive for me to just waste them so I'm waiting for a correct moment ; _ ; but some cheaper paints are great to use and they never run out XD

haha lol exactly same feeling lol XD I always say to myself no don't touch that set! you won't touch it untill you get better at drawing *sigh* I wish I could not worry about money and draw freely or color hehe.
ah yes A4 I don't like it either same problem ..not much space ...I thought maybe I need to force myself to draw smaller ..but then again that would be a problem if you want to add details such as necklaces , chains , or shadows etc. XD

I don't have problems with A5 XD but I do with A4 , it's weird XD Maybe it's because I've been painting on a tad bigger formats since the beginning of my adventure with paints, it's hard to switch to something smaller XD I don't like it xD
